It is very attractive snack due to it's pleasant shape and also it is made with very few ingredients and you can make it in a very less time.






Potato smiley can make in different shapes also.


  Potato smiley recipe card :-

POTATO SMILEY RECIPE/ MCCAIN SMILE RECIPE/ POTATO SMILE RECIPE:-

 INGREDIENTS:- ( SERVINGS - 10 SMILEY )

  • 2 medium sized boiled potato
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 tbsp corn flour
  • salt for taste as needed
  • oil for frying

 METHOD:-
  • Firstly,take 2 nos. grated boiled potato in a large bowl.
  • Then add 1/2 cup bread crumbs,2 tbsp corn flour and salt for taste.
  • Combine all ingredients well.(add more bread crumbs if required)
  • Forms a non sticky dough.
  • Cover and refrigerate for 15-20 mins so that smiley can not break and retain it's original shape.
  • Now take a dough,divide half and make dough in ball shape and flatten it thick slightly. 
  • Cut in round shape using a glass or round shape mould.
  • Make an eyes with straw or other pipe and make a smile with spoon.
  • Fry potato in a hot oil until it become golden crispy.
  • Finally serve potato smiley or potato smile with tomato sauce.
TOTAL TIME :45 MINUTES

carrot halwa is an indian dessert which is prepared using grated carrot with milk mawa.






Normally people make carrot halwa with milk but i make carrot halwa with milk mawa which is different in taste by using milk mawa.

benefits of this type halwa is : we can store it for around 7 days in freeze & use it for a week.





 Carrot halwa recipe card :-


CARROT HALWA RECIPE/ CARROT HALWA WITH  MILK MAWA RECIPE/ GAJAR KA HALWA RECIPE:-

 INGREDIENTS:- ( SERVINGS - 7 )

  • 2 kg grated carrot / gajar
  • 500 gm milk mawa
  • 50 gm ghee
  • 200 gm /1 &1/2 cup sugar
  • 50 gm chopped cashew
  • 8-10 nos. cardamon powder
  • few raisins

 METHOD:-
  • Wash, peel and grate the carrots (gajar).
  • In a pan add milk mawa. roast it for 10-15 minutes.
  • In a wide open pan add ghee. heat it for one minute.
  • Add grated carrot to the same pan. mix it well.
  • Cook it on a medium flame for 30-40 minutes until it becomes soft. stir it in between so that carrot does not get stick to bottom.
  • After 40 minutes add 1&1/2 cup/ 200 gm sugar. mix it well with carrot.
  • once again cook carrot on a medium flame for 30 minutes until carrot become dry.
  • After 30 minutes add milk mawa into carrot. mix it well.
  • Transfer the prepared carrot into greased plate.settle it well.
  • Now garnished with few raisins, chopped cashew & cardamon powder and press slightly.
  • After 10 minutes when it become cold keep in freeze for 1 hour to set well.
  • After one hour cut into pieces.
  • Finally serve carrot halwa & enjoy.

TOTAL TIME :1 HOUR & 40 MINUTES

3) In a wide open pan add ghee. heat it for one minute.




4) Add grated carrot to the same pan.mix it well.

PUDINA LEMON JUICE RECIPE :-


INGREDIENTS:-  (SERVINGS- 1 GLASS)


  • 1 bowl mint leaves (Pudina)
  • 3 to 4 teaspoon powdered sugar
  • 1 lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon black salt
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder (jeera powder)
  • 1 glass water



METHOD:-

  • Take fresh mint (Pudina) and remove it's leaves from stems and wash it with water.
  • Take all ingredients in a blender with some water for blending.
  • Blend all ingredients till become smooth puree.
  • Strain the smooth puree by using strainer.
  • Take 1/4 amount of puree and 3/4 amount of water in glass.
  • Add 3-4 ice cubes and juice is ready to serve.
